Cleanses are detoxes are most popular at the beginning of the year--but they can be hard to stick with! Some of the foods you have to eat on your new cleanse can be down-right awful.

There are a lot of foods, however, that are incredibly tasty that still have the same detox effects--without having to chug that nasty cardboard-tasting juice you've been drinking.

Check out some of these tasty detox snacks--you won't even know you're on a detox!

1. Popcorn sprinkled with cayenne pepper.
Recent studies have shown that those who eat spicy foods eat significantly less during their next meal--even if their next meal isn't spicy. Cayenne pepper, in addition, is also great for kick-starting your metabolism and digestion to help cleanse the body. Simply sprinkle some on to some air-popped popcorn for a low-calorie snack!

2. Green smoothie.
There are a lot of smoothie recipes out there, but the best by far has to be a banana, almond milk, spinach, kale, and ice smoothie. Simply blend together for an antioxidant-rich smoothie that cleanses your body and helps reduce inflammation.

3. Apples with almond butter.
Almonds are not only high in protein, they're incredibly heart-healthy. Mix that with a juicy filling apple with lots of fiber to aid in digestion, detox the body, and stabilize your blood sugar.

4. Avocado with lemon.
For a powerhouse of cleansing ingredients, slice an avocado and drizzle it with olive oil, lemon juice, and chili pepper. You'll get a hearty dose of fiber, antioxidants, and heart-healthy fats while the lemon and olive oil help with digestion. You can also try this on toast for an amazing lunch!

5. Greek yogurt with berries.
You've probably seen this snack everywhere--and it's for a good reason! The antioxidant-rich berries and the healthy protein-packed yogurt will keep you feeling satisfied, all while boosting your immune system. For a real treat, layer granola, Greek yogurt, and some tasty berries inside an ice cube tray or a cupcake tin. Stick in the freezer overnight for a sweet dessert!
