Çinar Engin is 14 months old, but he’s been capturing the hearts of everyone he’s met ever since the day he was born.
Çinar was born in Turkey to parents, Murat and Ceyda Engin. They found out in the delivery room that their very special son had been born with a birthmark on his forehead, just above his right eyebrow.
“Unbelievable,” a nurse had cried out that day after she’d cleaned Çinar’s head and face. “He is a love baby!”
Indeed, the little boy was born with a birthmark in the perfect shape of a heart on his forehead.
“It was difficult for me to keep in my tears,” Murat admitted. “[My wife] and I love him and his birthmark.”
Ceyda experienced a very similar set of emotions. “When his mother saw him and his birthmark, she started to cry,” Murat recalled. “It was really like a gift from God. None of us had negative feelings. We believe that he was born with his chance.”
Çinar’s special heart birthmark is now causing this reaction across the world.
When Murat and Ceyda took their son out on walks after his birth, they would get stopped by passerby who wanted to take photos with Çinar and his incredible birthmark.
Now, Çinar’s photo continues to make its way across the Internet, reaching people as far as China and America.
