Tara Blundred, a 24 years old mother of two darling children, agreed to model a bridal gown to help promote a local bridal shop in her hometown of Staffordshire.

According to SWNS, Blundred said yes to modelling a wedding dress on the runway. While she was doing her best catwalk down the runway wearing a huge and fluffy white sparkling gown, her boyfriend came out of nowhere.

The boyfriend, Martin Millard, knelt down on one knee, pulled out a small velvet box, opened it to reveal a sparkling engagement ring, and proposed to his girlfriend, Blundred.

The whole heartwarming episode was caught on video. It shows that Blundred about to walk off the stage, no fully hearing that Millard was calling her name. He had to jump on the runway and run through to reach her. After finally her attention, he proposed.

Blundred, of course, said yes or this story wouldn’t even scratch the top of any news site at all. The couple hugged each other and walked off stage to let the other models have their thunder.

Blundred works as a NHS 111 call advisor, according to SWNS. She lives with her boyfriend and their two children, four years old Ethan and three months old Joshua in Clayton, Staffordshire.

She said regarding the whole experience, “Some friends had nominated me to model the wedding dresses for a local bridal shop. I had never done it before but as we were all leaving the catwalk for the show finale Martin appeared.”

She continued, “I was more shocked than anything because I thought he was in Birmingham with his mum. At first I thought someone in the audience had recognized me and shouted my name so that is why I kept walking off.”

“But then I realized it was him and he got me back on the catwalk and got one knee and proposed. There were around 60 to 100 people there and they all applauded and the DJ shouted that I had said yes.”

“Some of the audience filmed it, so it’s great that we have that to look back on.

“I’m still a bit overwhelmed by it. Proposing to me when I was wearing a wedding dress, that doesn’t happen very often.

“But it does mean I can’t wear that wedding dress when we get married as he will have already seen me in it.”

The shop that Blundred modeled for was called Elle Louise Bridal in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire. Millard proposed on January 15th. The two have been together for six years now. It’d be two more years until they officially marry, which would be on Summer 2019.

A very long engagement.

Blundred added, “We got together through mutual friends and it just went from there really, so it was something that was in my mind. I can’t wait for our wedding day now. We want to do it how we want it.”

She continued, “Martin is so caring and generous and is brilliant with the kids. He is the rock of the family. It will be great to celebrate the day with the boys as a family.”

Martin works as a tattooist. He had been planning to propose to his girlfriend since last year, he told SWNS. He thought that the bridalwear fashion show would be a great setting and venue to propose to her.

The only small thing that he didn’t prepare for is the engagement ring. He had to borrow one from a friend.

Millard said, “It was planned for a later time. But on the way there I thought it would be perfect with her being in the wedding dress. I wasn’t nervous at all. I wasn’t worried about the number of people there as I was there to propose. The reaction was expected.”

He continued, “There were no nerves and I knew she was going to say yes. It had been on the cards for a while and, as a bloke, you want it to be memorable for them.”

Congratulations to the couple. Hope this relationship would last longer and their wedding would be ethereal and happy. No words yet on whether Blundred would choose to wear the wedding dress that she modeled for the local shop in Straffordshire.
